The Capital Wine Festival Returns in 2025
The CAPITAL WINE FESTIVAL in ALBANY is returning on SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 2025 to the beautiful ALBANY CAPITAL CENTER in downtown Albany. BUY your tickets today before we sell out. Included with the price of admission are unlimited sampling of Wine, Spirits, Cider, and Specialty Foods; a Paint and Sip attraction; photo booth; DJ so you can dance the night away; Board Games for the laid back crowd; and WINE glass with commemorative insignia to use for sampling and to take home. If you want to purchase a meal, the exceptional chef at the Capital Center has you covered for sensational sweet and savory options. Capital Wine Festival – Albany
There are two sessions plus a VIP option. Session 1 ($30) is from 1pm-4pm and session 2 ($35) is from 6pm-9pm. The VIP ticket ($40) gets you into session 2 an hour earlier, at 5pm, so you have more time and shorter lines during the first hour.
BUY TIXTickets for Designated Drivers (DDs) will be sold for $10 at the door. This ticket allows the DD to participate in food sampling, paint n sip, games, DJ/photo booth, and dinner purchases. There is no limit to the number of DD tickets available.

The 2025 Festival signups are SPECTACULAR. We are full and guess what? We have 17 wineries signed up!! The show has been growing since 2021 when things were a bit in re-start mode. What to Expect in 2025
Included with your ticket is unlimited sampling of the wines, spirits, and specialty food offered by the participating vendors. There will be full meals and beverages for sale (not included with the ticket price) offered by the chef at the Albany Capital Center. There will be a DJ, free photo booth, a free self-guided Paint-N-Sip attraction, and several other regular vendors selling their items.
We are also thrilled to say that Chair Massage by Capital District Massage will be back again this year! AND, for the first time we welcome The Temperamental Goddess offering introductory astrology readings at a reduced price – see below for more details!
Wine Sampling
We work hard to attract as many NY wineries to our shows as we can. Check the above Exhibitor Listing to see who we can thank for their participation at this show.
Spirits Sampling
We are also grateful for the participation of distilleries of excellence in NY. It is a great privilege to learn about their farms and stories and to purchase their spirits.
Specialty Foods Sampling
We aim to bring you the best quality specialty food producers who are willing to sample their products throughout each session. You will definitely want to purchase your favorites to take home.
Paint ‘N Sip
Once again enjoy the self-guided Paint-N-Sip offering. This is included with your ticket. Find a seat and our facilitator will keep you stocked with all the materials you need to indulge your creativity.
Wine and Spirits Holding Area
When you purchase your favorite bottles of wine or spirits after sampling them, we will keep them for you in the holding area. You just need to save your tickets from your purchase and pick them up on your way out.
DJ and Photo Booth
Get ready to turn up the volume and strike a pose with Capital Region Entertainment! Our DJs are the ultimate party starters, spinning the hottest tracks that will keep you grooving all night long.
CHAIR MASSAGE by Capital District Massage for $1/minute (half price). No need to schedule in advance! Just drop by during the festival for a short but luxurious massage.
Games
Have fun playing board games scattered around on tables for those of you who enjoy a more laid back evening while sampling. Chess, Checkers, and Connect 4 are some that people enjoy. If you have suggestions, please let us know!
